Translations always seem tough for me. While the meanings can be almost identical, give 3 different people something to translate and you will get back 3 different versions. I am always torn between something that sound better or more poetic in engilsh and a more direct/literal translation.

Back to the song.

This one has kind of a 'latin' sound and feel. I keep waiting for maracas to kick in.

In the line...
L’homme que j’aime me fait danser comme si c’était la première fois.

Does anyone else think it might be implying something other than 'dancing'.

I have been putting these off for way to long, I have the rest of the CD 99.9999% finished and will be posting them as I get the last couple pieces worked out.

Without a doubt, I think this is the catchiest song of the album. It certainly does have a Latin feel to it, but as for the maracas, those are reserved for "Chante" (I have no shame in admitting I enthusiastically clap along to that song every time. ).

Cannon, I hadn't thought about the double-meaning in that phrase before, but I can certainly see how you can make a case for it. And I'm usually pretty good at spotting such overtones! I guess Prissou for me is still that innocent young girl singing about butterflies and cookies.
